“I’m looking forward to participating in the conference in Namibia because it represents one of Africa’s most compelling investment destinations for the mining sector,” MineAfrica Inc president Wayne Floreani said.

Namibia’s selection as the host for this year’s conference reflects the country’s growing importance in Canada-Africa trade and investment partnerships, according to the Canada-Africa Chamber of Business.

The programme will include panel discussions on natural resource development as well as sustainability and community development.

The event is convened by the Canada-Africa Chamber of Business. Last year’s conference was held in Lusaka, Zambia.
