Barbara Rwodzi, Zimbabwe’s Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry and recently named African Minister of the Year by the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA), delivered a compelling presentation to international trade visitors, emphasizing the nation’s growing appeal as a premier travel destination.

Zimbabwe was one of only six stands selected for a special guided visit organized by the ITB Berlin team, reflecting the country’s rising profile in the global tourism landscape.

Minister Rwodzi showcased Zimbabwe’s rich tourism offerings, from iconic natural wonders such as Victoria Falls and expansive wildlife safaris to vibrant cultural experiences, traditional cuisine, and authentic local encounters.

The engagement allowed trade professionals to interact directly with the Zimbabwe delegation, fostering partnerships and strengthening the country’s position on the global tourism map.
