His short-form videos, driven by music, trends, and expressive storytelling, have attracted millions of viewers across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. Beyond entertainment, his platform has increasingly evolved into a space for advocacy—highlighting children’s rights, peacebuilding, and social development while also supporting his family and community.

His participation in ASMIS 2026 comes at a time when Africa’s digital landscape is rapidly transforming. The summit brings together influential content creators, aiming to strengthen collaboration, promote authentic African narratives, and challenge long-standing stereotypes about the continent.

The African Social Media Influencers Summit (ASMIS 2026) is designed as a strategic platform where creators are recognized not just as entertainers, but as powerful communicators and cultural ambassadors.

Organizers emphasize that social media influencers now play a critical role in shaping perceptions, driving tourism, supporting investment, and amplifying Africa’s interests globally.

The Ethiopian capital is buzzing with creative energy as 61 leading social media influencers from 30 African countries, boasting a combined following of 321 million, have begun arriving for the inaugural African Social Media Influencers Summit.

They are joined by 120 prominent Ethiopian content creators, who bring an additional 150 million followers to a gathering aimed at redefining the continent’s digital future in the continent’s diplomatic hub.

For social media content creators like Tenge Tenge, the summit represents more than visibility—it is an opportunity to align creativity with impact, ensuring that Africa’s stories are told by Africans themselves, in ways that reflect the continent’s diversity, resilience, and potential.
