Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held a phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss matters of bilateral cooperation between Ethiopia and France.

“A warm New Year’s exchange with my good friend, President Emmanuel Macron, over the phone earlier today,” Prime Minister Abiy said on social media post.

During the discussion, the two sides explored current and future areas of bilateral cooperation and agreed to keep each other informed on regional and global matters of mutual interest.

“As we continue to strengthen our relations, we explored our current and future areas of bilateral cooperation. We also agreed to keep each other informed on regional and global matters of mutual interest,” the premier stated.
