Algeria’s non-hydrocarbon exports reached more than 4.3 billion dollars in the first nine months of 2025, recording a 26 percent increase compared with the same period in 2024.
The strong performance reflects a sustained push to diversify the economy away from oil and gas, with export levels exceeding those recorded over the past two years.
Monthly data show a clear upward trend despite a slow start to the year, when exports stood at 296 million dollars in January, marking a year-on-year decline.
Momentum picked up steadily in the following months, with exports rising to 452 million dollars by October, representing a 42 percent increase compared with the same period last year.
July was the standout month, as non-hydrocarbon exports peaked at a record 490 million dollars, a sharp 74 percent rise year-on-year, underlining the growing strength of Algeria’s export diversification drive.
