Ethiopia’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hadera Abera, held talks with Israel’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gideon Sa’ar, focusing on strengthening the longstanding bilateral relations between Ethiopia and Israel.

The discussions took place ahead of the 4th Ethio–Israel Political Consultation scheduled to be held in Jerusalem.

Both sides exchanged views on regional and multilateral issues of mutual interest and reaffirmed their commitment to closer diplomatic engagement, according to the the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting also underscored the importance of further deepening economic cooperation, with emphasis on expanding collaboration in key sectors to advance shared development priorities.
