Leaders from across Africa arriving in Addis Ababa to take part in 39th African Union Summit

The President of the Republic of Djibouti, Ismail Omar Guelleh, President of the Republic of Angola, and Chairperson of the African Union, Joao Manuel Goncalves Lourenco, and President of the Republic of Botswana, Duma Gideon Boko have arrived in Addis Ababa this afternoon to attend the 39th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.

Also, the President of the Republic of Burundi, Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan, Vice President of the Republic of Uganda, Alupo Jessica Rose, and Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Lesotho, the Honourable Justice Nthomeng Majara, arrived in Addis Ababa this afternoon to participate in the 39th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.
