The leaders of various African countries are arriving in Addis Ababa to attend the 39th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union.President of the Republic of Namibia, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ฉ๐ก ๐๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ง, the President of Liberia, Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr. Prime Minister of Sรฃo Tomรฉ and Prรญncipe, Amรฉrico d'Oliveira dos Ramos, are among the leaders arrived in Addis Ababa this evening.
Also, the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Daneil Francisco Chapo, the President of Central African Republic, Faustin Archange Touadera, Prime Minister of the Peopleโs Republic of Algeria, Sifi Ghrieb, President of the Republic of Gabon, Brice Clotaire Oligul Nguema are in Addis for the summit.
The Vice President of the Republic of Seychelles, Sebastien Pillay, Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sen. Kashim Shettima as well as President of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB), Sidi Ould Tah arrived in Addis Ababa.
The summits this year will be held under the theme โAssuring Sustainable Water Availability and Safe Sanitation Systems to Achieve the Goals of Agenda 2063,โ focusing on water availability and sanitation as foundations for continental development. Delegates will remain in the city until Sunday to take part in highlevel deliberations, the AfricaโItaly Summit and bilateral meetings.
