The Algerian Football Federation has confirmed FIFA’s approval of venues and kick-off times for the Desert Foxes’ last two African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Algeria will host Somalia on Thursday, October 9, at the Miloud Hadefi Stadium in Oran, with play starting at 5:00 p.m.
In the decisive final round, the Greens will face Uganda on Tuesday, October 14, at Stade Moujahid Rahel Hussein Ait Ahmed in Tizi Ouzou, also at 5:00 p.m.
Both fixtures are crucial as coach Djamel Belmadi’s squad looks to secure top spot in Group G and book a place at the finals. Playing both matches at home gives Algeria the advantage of strong crowd support.
Somalia, meanwhile, will finish its campaign with back-to-back home games against Algeria and Mozambique.
