Troupe Kolfe Makes History at Monte Carlo Circus Festival

Ethiopia’s Troupe Kolfe has made history at the 48th Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo, winning the Silver Clown, the first ever for an African act in the festival’s main categories.

The troupe’s performance also earned three prestigious special prizes: Prix du Fairmont Monte-Carlo, Prix Société des Bains de Mer – Hotels & Casinos and Prix Spécial “The Great Wall Cup” awarded by the China Acrobats Association
