Tunisia will face Belgium in a high-profile international friendly on June 6 in Brussels, marking the North African side’s final warm-up match ahead of the World Cup finals in North America.
The match will be played at the King Baudouin Stadium and offers Tunisia a major test against one of Europe’s top sides as both teams fine-tune preparations for the global tournament.
Belgium are drawn in Group G alongside Egypt, Iran and New Zealand, with group matches scheduled in Seattle, Los Angeles and Vancouver. The fixture against Tunisia is expected to provide Belgium with valuable preparation against North African opposition similar in style to Egypt.
For Tunisia, the encounter forms part of an intensive build-up that will measure the team’s tactical readiness, squad depth and competitiveness ahead of the World Cup. Facing a top-ranked European side on away soil is seen as a key benchmark in their preparations.
Belgium will also play Croatia on June 2 in Rijeka, and earlier warm-ups against World Cup hosts the United States and Mexico in March, as both nations sharpen their readiness for football’s biggest stage.
